Based in eastern Connecticut, we are a private full amenity dog training and boarding company. Christopher Busch and Starla Howard are the founders and operators of Country Hill Canine and reside on the property in Franklin Connecticut. They are professional dog trainers and behavioral consultants with over ten years of experience training dogs in the New England region. Chris and Starla have worked with dogs from puppies to adults with all types of training needs ranging from basic obedience to behavior modification.

 

 

Our property consists of acres of rolling hay fields that abut conservation land, a boarding area with climate controlled indoor suites, three fenced in outdoor areas for play totaling 15,000sqft and an additional 900sqft indoor training studio with rubber flooring and mirrored walls to maximize every dogs stay.

Country Hill Canine works with trainers that are highly educated and caring. Trainers work out of their own homes and communities. They specialize in house manners, pet obedience, puppy development, and behavior modification. Positive love, affection, praise, leash tension, hand signals, e-collar communication and verbal communication are coupled together to achieve 100% satisfaction.
